Custom concrete pool building is a process that focuses on designing and constructing a pool uniquely suited to your property’s layout, aesthetic preferences, and lifestyle needs. Unlike prefabricated pools, which come in standard shapes and sizes and, often with steps and benches where you dont want them, custom pools allow for limitless creativity and personalisation.

Choosing the location for your pool is one of the most important decisions to make. Some of the factors that will influence this are sun exposure, accessibility, space, connection to your house, and site conditions. We can help guide you through this during the design process.
All pools in New Zealand require at least fence consent. If your pool is over 35,00 Litres, it will also require a building consent. A small number of pools may also require a resource consent.
Some reasons your pool may require a resource consent include: the pool encroaching boundary or gully setbacks, or being in an SNA (Significant Natural Area).
No matter what type of consent is required, when you build with LuxeOutdoors, we take care of this whole process for you.
Absolutely! Whether you want your custom Spa built as a standalone feature or integrated with the main pool, we can help you design a Spa that will not only look great but will be tailored to your exact requirements based on how you want to use it.
One of the upsides of building a custom concrete pool or spa is that it can be built in any shape or size you like; you are only limited by your imagination.
During the design process, we will discuss points with you, such as:
Understanding these points and taking into consideration your site and budget, we can then recommend a design that will perfectly fit your needs.
The short answer is yes. Every pool in New Zealand is required to meet the F9 regulations for restricting access to a pool. This can be achieved in several different ways, from using glass or aluminium pool fencing to create a boundary around your pool.
This is often done in conjunction with your boundary fencing, which will also need to be compliant. In some situations, your house will also form part of the pool fencing. Depending on your site, there may be ways to implement a design that will reduce the amount of fencing required.
Our designers have years of experience in this area and can help design a fencing solution that will be both compliant and aesthetically pleasing.
